Dr. Sally Broder, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and executive director of HorseSensing in Shelbyville.
Her specialization areas are trauma and addictive disorders. HorseSensing is a residential therapeutic job training program for veterans and people in recovery from addictions.
She is also treating clinician for the National Football League and the NBA Anti-Drug Program helping athletes with substance-related issues. She is the president of Chiron Concepts, Inc., a training firm that specializes in teaching law enforcement personnel about mental health issues in offenders and officer well-being.
For many years, Dr. Broder has been providing pro-bono services to military personnel and their families and now continues her work with veterans through HorseSensing. Dr. Broder believes that the recipe for a happy life is to be in service to others using your God-given gifts.
She believes that people need a hand up, not a hand out and that everyone deserves a second chance.
Dr. Broder is an avid horsewoman and ridesand shows American Saddlebred Horses.
